Child Safety Standards

Our Commitment
The Rock Cave has a zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We do not allow content, conduct, or activity that sexually exploits or endangers children on our website, mobile apps, or community features (Mosh Pit forum, fan photos, comments, and private messages).
Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited. Violations result in immediate content removal, permanent account ban, and reporting to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form, including generated or animated depictions.
- Sexualized content involving minors.
- Grooming behavior, solicitation, or inappropriate contact with anyone under 18.
- Sharing the personal information, location, or contact details of a minor.
- Links, references, or embeds pointing to off-platform CSAE content.
Reporting CSAE Violations
If you encounter any content or conduct on The Rock Cave that you believe violates these standards, report it immediately to:
Please include the following so our moderators can act quickly:
- A direct URL or screenshot of the content.
- The username, handle, or user ID of the offending account, if known.
- A short description of the violation.
Within the website and mobile apps, you can also use the Report control available on every comment, topic, photo, and private message. In-app reports route to the same moderation queue as emailed reports.
Our Response
- All reports are reviewed by a human moderator, typically within 24 hours.
- Confirmed CSAE content is removed and preserved as required by law.
- Offending accounts are permanently banned and all associated content is hidden.
- Suspected CSAM is reported to NCMEC under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
Technical and Operational Safeguards
- Fan photos, topic photos, and message attachments are reviewed before publication.
- User-generated text (comments, topics, replies) is subject to moderation and is hidden on ban.
- Users must be 13 or older to create an account. Accounts identified as belonging to users under 13 are removed.
- Private messaging includes per-message block and report controls.
- A moderation audit log records every action taken by our moderators.
Legal Compliance
The Rock Cave complies with applicable laws regarding the protection of minors, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (NCMEC reporting), and the child-safety requirements of the Google Play and Apple App Store developer agreements.
