April is bringing some seriously killer rock and metal tours to venues across America! The shock rock legend Alice Cooper is dominating the month with his Alice's Attic Tour, hitting theaters and amphitheaters from Texas to New Jersey with his theatrical horror-show spectacle. Meanwhile, Russian deathcore DESTROYERS Slaughter To Prevail are tearing through clubs and theaters with Whitechapel and Attila in tow—this tour is BRUTAL and I cannot wait to see Alex Terrible live.
We're also getting Megadeth's farewell tour dates kicking off in South America (Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico), plus some amazing festival action brewing for later in the season. Rush's massive Fifty Something reunion tour is coming this summer (June kickoff!), but April is all about the intimate theater shows and club chaos. If you love classic shock rock or want your face melted by some of the heaviest deathcore on the planet, this is YOUR month. Let's GO! 🔥
The GODFATHER of shock rock is back and bringing the full theatrical nightmare to stages across America! At 77 years old, Alice Cooper shows absolutely no signs of slowing down—this Alice's Attic Tour features the same insane production he debuted with Judas Priest last fall. Guillotines, fake blood, horror movie vibes, and ICONIC hits like "School's Out," "Poison," "I'm Eighteen," and "No More Mr. Nice Guy." Cooper just reunited with the original Alice Cooper Group for 2025's The Revenge of Alice Cooper album, and he's out here PROVING that rock theater is alive and well. Plus, 22-year-old British guitarist Anna Cara is joining the lineup—fresh blood for a legendary show. This is essential viewing for ANY rock fan.
If you want your face MELTED by some of the most punishing modern deathcore on the planet, Slaughter To Prevail is bringing the CHAOS this April. Russian frontman Alex Terrible (yes, that's his actual stage name) has one of the most insane growls in metal, and the band's live show is absolutely UNHINGED. They're touring in support of their latest album "Grizzly," and they're bringing Whitechapel and Attila along for maximum brutality. This is NOT your dad's metal show—this is circle pits, wall of deaths, and pure sonic annihilation. Plus, Alex is literally training for bare-knuckle fighting between tour dates. The man is a BEAST. If you're into Lorna Shore, Spiritbox, or anything heavy as hell, DO NOT sleep on this tour.
Thrash metal LEGENDS Megadeth are kicking off their farewell tour in South America this month, and it's bittersweet as HELL. Dave Mustaine and the boys are saying goodbye after decades of shredding faces with albums like Peace Sells, Rust in Peace, and Countdown to Extinction. This South American leg hits Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico with what I'm sure will be MASSIVE setlists spanning their entire career. They'll be back in the US later this year (supporting Iron Maiden's Run For Your Lives tour in September), but these South American shows are the official kickoff of the final chapter. Pour one out for one of the greatest thrash bands of all time. 🤘
