Tom Russell

Tom Russell rolled into The Rock Cave like a man on a mission, and that mission was apparently to convince Cave Nation that 2001 was an absolutely pivotal year for rock music. He showed up for S4E5, dropped his knowledge about Touch of Evil, and left us all wondering where he'd been hiding this whole time. One episode, zero chill, maximum enthusiasm.

Tom is clearly the kind of guy who has strong opinions about the darker, moodier side of rock, the type who probably has a playlist called something like "Brooding But Make It Heavy." Mark barely had time to pour the metaphorical drinks before Tom was deep in the weeds on the good stuff.

He may only have one episode to his name here at the Cave, but Tom Russell made it count. Cave Nation, if you see this man at a show, buy him a beer and ask him about 2001. You won't regret it.
