Sexplosion! My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult is 31

Wanderlust Wednesday here in The Rock Cave which means we are talking about music you may not have heard before. This band has been near the top of my all time favorites since I first heard this record in 1991. MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT (Official) dropped the infectiously groovy album Sexplosion! and I just received their 30th (a year late) anniversary deluxe vinyl release. This was a musical departure from their early heavy hitting industrial albums (think Ministry). They added Disco, Funk and and James Bond while throwing B-movie snippets, horns and sex. The result is like nothing else you will hear. They continue to show up on tour and put out albums, they also do an amazing job on remix albums. We saw them in the mid-90's with Lords of Acid at The Sextatcy Ball and I look forward to catching them again on The East Coast. Check out songs like "The International Sin Set" "Sex on Wheelz" "Dream Baby" and the title track along with all the others since there is no weak track here. SOTD
