Planet P 1983

It is time for another Wanderlust Wednesday and today we are talking about a band, rather a pseudonym for the keyboardist in Rainbow. Tony Carey left his 2 year stint with Richie Blackmore and in 1983 released the first of what would be 6 albums under the name Planet P Project (changed to Planet P). The debut had a hit and some other songs that got a little traction followed by "Pink World" which struggled out the gate. If you remember the hit "Why Me?" that is your SOTD with some deep cuts posted as well. (Static being my second favorite). Check out this Prog-Space Rock.
