The Replacements on Wanderlust Wednesday

We are back here in The Rock Cave after several days away. Today we are talking about one of the most important and influential bands in American history when it comes to Alternative Rock. The Replacements came out of Minnesota and originally played punk music and not seriously at all. Lead singer Paul Westerberg would change all that and musically they would go on to make some very important records. Westerberg is considered one of the best songwriters in Rock history and they have an album that lists in the Top 20 of Best Album All Time in many polls. The band was completely dysfunctional and could not string together successful live appearances without being too out of control and basically anti-themselves.
