The Strokes Is This It 2001

In the early/mid 2000's music fans were pivoting off off Grunge and looking for something new. Luckily bands like The White Stripes and The Killers were there to save us. Early on, in 2001 it was the band The Strokes out of NYC who provided a watershed moment for those of us thirsty for Garage Rock guitars and vocals the likes of The Velvet Underground and The Ramones. Today we revisit their debut LP 'Is This It' which I remeber wearing out to the bone. Wanderlust Wednesday SOTD.
