Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell dead at 56

Smash Mouth founding singer Steve Harwell died at age 56 this past week. He got his start in a rap band and when he tired of that he met 2 guys from a Punk band and together the formed Smashmouth with would be renamed Smash Mouth after signing with Interscope Records. Their debut went 2x Platinum and their sophomore effort was even bigger at 3x Platinum thanks to the world-wide hit All-Star. Check out SOTD today.
