Deep Purple Hush 1968 (Air date 8-5-22)

Octane Friday challenge accepted. Michael Murray suggested Deep Purple so lets go back to their debut single 'Hush' in 1968. This English band did not fare well at home with this but here across the pond it went to Number 4. Do I hear some Hendrix "Crosstown traffic" in the middle here? Fast forward to 1984 when they put out a record after a 9 year absence. Perfect Strangers was a hit, esp. 'Knocking at Your Back Door". SOTD
