R.E.M. dropped their 10th studio album 28 years ago this month. New Adventures In Hi Fi is considered by many fans and the band to be their best work at the pinnacle of their career. Mixing the grunge-like feedback noises inspired by Radiohead with the classic college alternative rock from their youth with plenty of the Alt-Country from the middle of their catalog there is something for everyone here.
