The Rock Cave is digging deep into Censorship and Washington today via the 35th anniversary of the PMRC hearing on The Hill. On this date in ‘85 the likes of Zappa, Dee Snider and John Denver took on Tipper Gore and her committee to fight “this filth” in music. It was an epic display of MTV rock and rollers against the establishment. If you are under age 45 you may not know where those “Parental Advisory” stickers came from and this is it.
