After The Sex Pisols disbanded in 1978 singer John Lydon (Johnny Rotten) was looking to form a band. A flight to Jamaica with Richard Branson was an attempt to get him to join...Devo?! In the end he gathered a rag-tag group that would be a revolving door with some surprise contributors along the way. The result: Public Image Ltd.
