Spinal Tap Drummer Ric Parnell dies at 70

Real life drummer Ric Parnell died yesterday at age 70. He played the part of Mick Shrimpton the drummer for Spinal Tap in the original movie. The band lost an inordinate number of drummers. It’s based on a real phenomenon in rock bands where the drummers are always the first to die. It’s not a hard-and-fast rule, but it does happen unusually frequently. Turn this one to eleven.
