45 years ago on June 6th The Cars out of Boston released their debut album. Boasting 3 singles that should have been at least 5, this record was essential for so many of us who were in High School. My brain knows why they are called New Wave but I still have trouble putting them there. Not Classic Rock and not Power Pop I guess its more Synth-Rock.
