Coming off of the hugely succesful album The Wall and follow up movie Pink Floyd were just trying to keep it together. The material left from The Wall was the subject of Roger Waters concept for the next album he called Spare Bricks. The Fauklands War changed that up for him and the rift betwenn himself and David Gilmour widened. The resulting album, The Final Cut was released this week in 1983 and was the final nail in the coffin. The record has some great material, most were not paying attention.
