35 years ago this week we had the need. The need for speed. The soundtrack to Top Gun was released on 5/13/86. One of the best selling soundtracks of all time, the story of who turned it down is as interesting as who made it. I forgot to mention that among the list of artists on here, Steve Stevens of Billy Idol fame is the guitarist on the Top Gun Theme. SOTD is.....classified.- Maverick.
