The Tom Tom Club started as a side project to Talking Heads in 1981 and their second single, Genius of Love, remains a staple on the radio and is sampled by many artists. I admit it took many many years for me to become a fan of this song yet here I am, finally in The Tom Tom Club. SOTD.
