Touch of Evil Tom Russell 2001

Apr 12, 2023

Early bird gets the worm apparently. My "late" post yesterday did not get much traction, who listened to Faces yesterday? SO GOOD. Wanderlust Wednesday is here bright and early with Tom Russell and his song about a 1958 Orson Welles film noir movie called Touch of Evil. The song of the same name is about a fractured relationship. This falls under Americana as a music genre and many of you just will scratch your head as to why I say I am not a Country fan but to me there is a difference. In any event, your assignment if you choose to accept it is to listen to the song AND watch the movie with the longest opening pan shot in history.
