The Waterboys, a Scottish-British band were formed in London in 1983. In the middle of Synth-driven New Age Rock they threw down geuitar driven Folk-Rock with hints of Celtic music. The 3rd album, released in 1985 called This Is the Sea had a song called The Whole of the Moon. The song did just ok at first, later becoming their signature song and rereleased in The U.K. in 1992 where it went to Number 3. Their keyboeard player left after this album and formed his own band that is college radio classic. Tune in to find out that and more on SOTD.
