Wednesday is here and that means an obscure song or band you may not be familiar with. The Call is a favorite of mine and it is possible they are more well known than I think, let me know! Lots of material to post, I first heard them in '82, became a huge fan in '87 (not '88 as I say). "The Walls Came Down" is your SOTD. Addendum: I just spent 40 minutes revisiting their catalog, “Reconciled” is stellar. It may be part nostalgia for me but I swear there is no weak song. Secondly, I’ve said it before and will say it again, you have to listen to music in your car or on stereo speakers will plenty of bass. Third: holy cow Tim Cappello just blew my doors off with his saxophone, he took a great song and made it greater. We love “The Lost Boys” here in this house.....”I’ll march this road, I’ll climb this hill, upon my knees if I have to. I’ll take my place upon this stage, I’ll wait for the end of time for you like everybody else” then the sax just rips. Wow. Check it out.
