50 years ago today a popular local out of New Jersey dropped his debut album Greetings from Asbury Park N.J. Bruce Springsteen was getting huge accolades while in Steel Mill whicj led to his signing to Columbia Records. Recorded in a week on a budget and rejected by Clive Davis at first, Bruce wrote 2 songs that would become fan favorites. SOTD is Spirit in the Night.
