Classic Rock today in The Cave as we talk about Rick Derringer. He and his brother formed The McCoys and had a Number 1 hit with "Hang On Sloopy" in 1965. Later he worked with both Edgar and Johnny Winter, went solo and also worked a ton with Steely Dan, Todd Rundgren, Ringo Starr and even Meatloaf, Weird Al, Bonnie Tyler and Air Supply. SOTD is from 1973 and his only top 40 hit "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo".
