Bob and Doug McKenzie Take Off, Eh!

Hey Hosers! We are having fun in The Cave today as we head back to 1981 when what started as filler for commercial air-space turned out to be a huge hit earning a Grammy and Juno nom. Bob and Doug McKenzie were a skit on SCTV featuring Rick Moranis (Ghostbusters and Honey, I Shrunk movies) and Dave Thomas. These short segments were the two of them ad-lib talking like stereotypical Canadians. As a 12 year old , me and my friends loved it. I heard the single Take Off for the first time in like 40 years this week and almost drove off the road when I recognized who was singing the chorus. Tune in to find out, eh!
