Fast Times at Lost Boys High

This week has 2 different 80's movie annivesaries and we are talking about both of their soundtracks here in The Rock Cave. 40 years ago Fast Times at Ridgemont High introduced us to Spicoli with a movie that was jam packed with music from heavy hitters like Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks, The Eagles (individually) and Sammy Hagar. The songs and artists who did not make the cut are equally interesting. SOTD is the title track from Sammy Hagar. Next up, 35 years ago we were introduced to a teen horror comedy about vampires that somehow worked. The Lost Boys had the 2 Coreys, Jason Patric and Keifer Sutherland along with a soundtrack including INXS, Echo & The Bunnymen and Roger Daltry however it was the lesser known names that stole the show with songs like 'Cry Little Sister' and your second SOTD 'I Still Belive' which was a remake of a great song by The Call.
