S1 E31 Van Halen Running With The Devil

OCTANE FRIDAY is here! In a first part of many we look at Van Halen as Alex Van Halen is 67 today. The topic for me is too big for one segment, so I am going to revisit Van Halen several times here at SOTD. Today we talk only of their debut album, which sold 10M copies and introduced us all to them. Lots to choose from here, 11 songs on the album and 5 singles means the whole album was out on 45RPM except 1 song...."Ice Cream Man". Eruption was the B-side of "Devil" which is funny to me. On another note, Brian Howe of Bad Company passed away at 66 yesterday, he was the singer that replaced Paul Rogers and they put out some quality records in the late 80's.
