The Chicks SOTD

Yessss! The day has finally arrived. The Rock Cave has been waiting for my daughter Lila Pierce to appear as a special guest and she picked this date to do it. I’ve been patiently awaiting for today for almost 3 months and now I can say all 3 awesome women in my life have graced me with cameos. Lila can match anyone in the cool department as far as music taste and can sing along to anything from Steely Dan to Led Zeppelin to Peggy Lee. Today we look on this date in 2002 and the band formerly known as The Dixie Chicks (now The Chicks) released the tour de force album “Home”. We love this band and think they keep getting better and better. They are on our concert bucket list as a family (Zoe has seen them) and can’t wait to make it happen.
