Rod Recor. The name sounds like he was literally built in a lab to be a rock music podcast guest, and honestly, we're not ruling that out. Rod rolled into The Rock Cave for one glorious episode and decided to make it count by diving deep into the holy trinity of 80s synth-pop royalty: Culture Club, Human League, and Howard Jones. This is a person who clearly spent a formative chunk of 1998 rewinding cassette tapes and wondering whether a keytar was an acceptable life choice.

One episode. That's all Rod needed. Like a comet blazing through Cave Nation, he left his mark, dropped his knowledge about the finest in new wave and synth-driven brilliance, and presumably rode off into the sunset wearing something with shoulder pads.
