Sara Jansen Pierce

Sara Jansen Pierce is basically the unofficial co-host of The Rock Cave at this point, having crashed the party nine times and counting. Cave Nation, let's be honest, she's not a guest anymore, she's a squatter with good taste in music. Mark keeps handing her the mic and somehow never gets it back, which explains a lot about how This Day in Rock History went.

When Sara isn't plotting a hostile takeover of this podcast, she's out here defending the deep cuts, from Rickie Lee Jones to Air Supply without a single ounce of shame, and honestly we respect it. She's the kind of person who will go to bat for Howard Jones in 1998 AND Lionel Richie's Hello in the same breath, and somehow make it feel completely reasonable. Also she gets her own birthday episode, which Mark has never given anyone else, so make of that what you will.
