Iron Maiden Piece of Mind is 40

40 years ago I was blissfully listening to Thompson Twins and The Fixx when in the shadows there was this band who released their 4th studio album Piece of Mind. Iron Maiden established themselves as huge artists in The U.K. and this record did indeed go platinum in The U.S. but I was not exposed to it. It was not until my Metal awakening in 1989 that I would get the fever. Labeled as Satantic worshipers by the like of The PMRC, it turns out they were churning out amazing metal with no such undertones. (shocker) Your SOTD is The Trooper. Crank it up on Octane Friday!
