Tina Turner died yesterday at the age of 83. Born in poverty and working hard to be a singer she got her break in the late 1950's and quickly became one of the biggest live acts around. Opening for The Stones in 1969, she dominated the stage with her singing and energy. By the early 1980's she was stuggling as a nostalgic act when she caught a few breaks and then completed the biggest comback in the history of Rock & Roll. Grammy after Grammy after Platinum after Platinum record. Check out our tribute today. RIP Tina.
