The Smiths released their international breakthrough hit album "The Queen Is Dead" 35 years ago yesterday. Intersestingly enough The Queen is still not dead. (she was a spry 60 when this came out). There was only 1 single off this record which is hard to imagine since there here a half dozen candidates that would have been worthy.
